Upload your photos!!!

There is a tool called Chiwis CS Gallery Manager that allows you to upload multiple photos to a Community Server photo gallery.  This application was developed by a Community Server community member. 

Here are the step to get it setup and allow you to upload images to crakins.com

  1. Download the installation file from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=161994&package_id=182828
  2. Unzip the file
    1. You must extract the .msi file to you computer.  I saved it to my desktop so it is easy to find
    2. Note: Once you complete the installation you can delete the installation file if you want.
  3. Double click the file to start the installation
  4. Click Next
  5. Choose if you would like only yourself or anyone to use this program and click next
  6. Confirm the installation by clicking next
  7. Wait while the application to installs
  8. Click close to complete the installation
  9. Now the photo upload tool is ready to use!  Double click the Chiwis CS Gallery Manager icon from you desktop.
  10. You will now need to setup the tool.  First, copy and paste this URL http://crakins.com/photos/galleryservice.asmx to the text box labeled CS Gallery Address or Webservice Address
  11. Enter you crakins.com username and password
  12. Click OK
  13. You are now ready to upload photos!  Search your local drives for the photos you would like to upload and drag and drop them to the bottom section of the program.
  14. Make sure you select which Gallery you would like the photo stored and select an album if you like.
    1. To create a new album go to http://crakins.com, select your Photo Gallery and select ‘manage albums’ from the Common Tasks on the right hand side.
    2. From here right click the “root” (the folder that has a / next to it) folder and select ‘add new’
