My summer breaks from High School and College were always filled with fun times in the sun lifeguarding, teaching swim lessons, and eventually managing the swim lesson program. I made great money (relatively) which enable me to not work (usually) during the school year. My last summer break I decided to keep a part-time job/internship with Smooth Fusion which in the long run landed me in Seattle and now with Telligent. While the long run has paid off the short run brought quite a bit of credit card debt. Like any responsible college student I said screw it and had a great last semester and Winter break before joining the working stiff world.
After making a final balance transfer to a Chase United Mileage Plus card and racking up 23,000 miles
I paid the damn thing off today!!
Whew, that felt great!
Now I just have a car payment looming for the truck I recently purchased. Soon enough though.
